C: 4 players from a standing in the squads conducted on Wednesday-Thursday
D: 35 players from the general standing including results from all qualification squads
E: 3 players from the desperado squad
Players are qualified from the categories in the order D - C - B - A, which means:
that there always will be 3 players qualified from A and B and 4 from C
that players are qualified first from the D standing, then from the C standing etc.
that players positions in A, B, C does not count if they are qualified from any other standing
Seeding for the final steps
All players qualified from the A standing (3), the B standing (3), the C-standing (4), the E standing (3) and the D standing position 17-35 (19) is qualified for the final step 1
Players positioned 9-16 in the general standing will qualify for the final step 2
Players positioned 1-8 in the general standing will qualify for the final step 3

32 players qualified will play 4 games starting from scratch
Top 16 will qualify for the final step 2
Players not continuing to the final step 2 will be ranked 33-48 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 1

24 players qualified will play 4 games starting from scratch
Top 10 will qualify for the final step 3
Players not continuing to the final step 3 will be ranked 19-32 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 2

18 players qualified will play 6 games starting from scratch

Players not continuing to the final step 4 will be ranked 5-18 according to their positions in the standing of the final step 3

4 players will play an elimination over 3 one game rounds
In each round the lowest scoring player is leaving the elimination

Qualification
The highest positioned player will be the player scoring the highest total of all counting qualification games minus the score of the lowest game. If a tie still exists, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest total of all counting qualification games minus the score of the two lowest games etc.
Desperado
A tie influencing who will qualify for the first final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken.
Final Step 1-3
Ties influencing who will qualify for the next final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken. In all other tie situations in step 1-3, a procedure similar to the procedure for the qualification will be followed.
Final step 4
In case of a tie in a round decisive for a continuation to the next round, or a tie deciding the final title match, a one ball roll off on a full set of pins will be played, repeated until the tie is broken.
