Game format:

GENERAL
The tournament is mixed with all women participating in the tournament, as well as all children under the age of 14 receive an 8 point handicap per game.

GROUPS
The individual tournament will be held separately for A and B groups. In order to participate in the Group B tournament a player need to present an official statement from the respective national federation that the average for the last 12 months is less than 180.

QUALIFICATION – INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION
Each competitor is entitled to an unlimited amount of re-entries.

Qualification games will take place according to the following format:

Competitors play one squad of 6 games (pair game mode). Players per pair in squads – 4. Lanes are switched every 2 games. Practice takes place only prior to the beginning of the squads of 6 games and lasts for 10 minutes. The individual qualification result is determined by the total amount of points received from all six games.

The top 20 players from group A and top 12 from group B advance to the finals.

QUALIFICATION – DOUBLES
Doubles may be men, women or mixed. The participants declare the players’ names of the “double” upon registering for the tournament and cannot change them after that. The participants in a “double” may play in different squads and therefore they need to inform the organizers in advance. Doubles are entitled to an unlimited amount of re-entries. The final results and the ranking will be done after the last squad on Friday. All doubles must be formed by participants from one country.

QUALIFICATION – TEAMS
The team qualifications will take part on Friday and Saturday. Practice takes place only prior to the beginning of the squad of 6 games and lasts for 10 minutes only. Each team consists of 5 participants who play 6 games. Lanes are changed every 2 games. Each country participating in the tournament can have more than one team. Each team has the right to substitute one player during a 6 game set.


FINALS TEAMS – SATURDAY 18:00
The top four teams play as follows: 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd – a game per player (total of five games). Winners play a match to determine the champion. 3rd and 4th place are determined according to the position of the team after the qualification.

FINALS FOR DOUBLES AND INDIVIDUAL TOURNAMENT – SUNDAY 9:00
PHASE 1

All players from individual Group A tournament and the Doubles tournament with place rom 5th to 20th play a single squad of three (3) games. If a player has qualified for both individual and doubles tournament, the result counts for both tournaments. Practice takes place only prior to the beginning of the squad and lasts for 10 minutes only. The first 4 doubles and individuals advance to Phase 2. The rest are ranked from 9th to 20th place accordingly. In case of a tie the person/double with higher qualification result is ranked higher.

PHASE 2
DOUBLES – ELIMINATION

The 1st 4 doubles from the qualification plus the first 4 from Phase 1 play elimination matches (1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5). The matches are played in “best of 3” format. The winners from those matches qualify to the stepladder. The order for the stepladder is based on the average scored during the elimination match. The losing doubles are ranked also according to their average in the elimination match.

INDIVIDUAL GROUP A – ELIMINATION

The 1st 4 players from the qualification plus the first 4 from Phase 1 play elimination matches (1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5). The matches are played in “best of 3” format. The winners from those matches qualify to the stepladder. The order for the stepladder is based on the average scored during the elimination match. The losing players are ranked also according to their average in the elimination match.

INDIVIDUAL GROUP B

All players from individual Group B tournament qualified for the final play a single squad of three (3) games. Practice takes place only prior to the beginning of the squad and lasts for 10 minutes only. The first 4 players advance to stepladder. The rest are ranked from 5th to 12th place accordingly. In case of a tie the person with higher qualification result is ranked higher.


PHASE 3
DOUBLES – STEPLADDER

The double positioned 4 and the double positioned 3 will play a one game per player match
The loser of the match will be ranked 4 in the final tournament standing

Winners play a one game per player match against the double ranked 2nd after phase 2. The losing double qualifies in third place.

The winner plays one final match to determine a champion with the double ranked 1st after phase 2.

INDIVIDUAL (GROUP A AND B) – STEPLADDER

The player positioned 4 and the player positioned 3 will play a one game match
The loser of the match will be ranked 4 in the final tournament standing

The winner plays one game against the second after phase 2.

The loser of the match will be ranked 3 in the final tournament standing

The winner plays the one final game with the first after the phase 2 to determine the winner of the tournament
