Game format:

Qualification
6 games qualification (primary entries and re-entries)

40 players will qualify for the final steps
8 players will qualify directly for the final step 2, which is players positioned 1-8 in the qualification standing.
32 players will qualify for the final step 1, which is:
- Players positioned 9-30 in the qualification standing
- Players positioned 1-4 in the Desperado standing
- Players positioned 1-6 in a separate standing for the squads conducted 13-15 September
In cases of players from the separate 13-15 September standing are positioned in the interval 1-30 in the qualification standing, the next positioned player in the 13-15 September standing will qualify.

Final Step 1
32 players will play 4 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-16 are qualified for the final step 2
Players positioned 17-32 will be ranked 25-40 according to their position in the final step 1

Final Step 2
24 players will play 4 games starting from scratch
Players positioned 1-12 are qualified for the final step 3
Players positioned 13-24 will be ranked 13-24 according to their position in the final step 2

Final Step 3
12 players will play 6 games with the pin fall from the final step 2 carried forward
Players positioned 1-12 will be ranked 1-12 according to their position in the final step 3

Prizes:

Prize tax: No

Qualification
The highest positioned player will be the player scoring the highest total of all counting qualification games minus the score of the lowest game. If a tie still exists, the highest positioned player will be the player with the highest total of all counting qualification games minus the score of the two lowest games etc.

Desperado
A tie influencing who will qualify for the first final step will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken.

Final Step 1-3
A tie influencing the final top 3 of the tournament, or a tie influencing who will qualify for the next final step, will be broken by playing a 9th and 10th frame roll off, repeated until the tie is broken. In all other tie situations in step 1-3, a procedure similar to the procedure for the qualification will be followed.
